Hello October, how are you feeling?

The month of October started cheerfully as always with the Children's Day. Boy I wish I am still a child. The month of September ended with the death of JBJ and a 778 points nosedive in Dows Jones and a sharp drop in various stock markets across the world. Before I entered this place and before I attended some lectures in Government and Politics in Singapore, I had no idea who is JBJ. In fact, I remembered asking Junrong who is JBJ and his reply was "the bankrupted guy". Yet now I do know the importance of him and how he shaped the political system in Singapore. We need someone like him willing to sacrifice himself to test the boundaries of our political system. They say times are changing. We never know. But with his death, which brave Singaporean will take up his place in our society?

The global economy seems to have caught a cold. Various economies are sneezing badly. Somehow I've felt this was coming. Oh well.

Last night I was running around bishan park in the light drizzle. I love that feeling of the tad of rain falling on me as I run. That strangely serene feeling that surrounds you when you run through a bloody deserted park which is oddly lit up despite the lack of people.

Victor is barely surviving. Priorities all screwed up and wasting my time pursuing the wrong interest. Spending too much time looking too deeply into things and analysing every small little incidents. I need a dose of adrenaline to get myself to work seriously.

You mean, who's going to step up and be the next 'bankrupted guy'?

JBJ used to be a wealthy lawyer and his wealth was reduced to nothing thanks to politics. It is indeed extremely sad. Wonder who will "step up and be the next 'bankrupted guy'"

It's odd that you don't know who JBJ was.

That said, why are your priorities wonky? That makes little sense.

How's gentoo on your spanking new machine?

I'm a ignorant and political unaware Singaporean. Oh it is because I do things in the wrong order, not in the order of importance.

Gentoo's pretty well now, though there are some issues that I'm supposed to fix but can't get myself down to fix it. Am still waiting for bloody adobe to come up with their 64bit version of flash. !@#$
