Hello Decemeber and Tokyo

I wanted to write a post after my last paper to commemorate it but I decided there is no point as I had other things to keep myself occupied. Then December came and I'm totally loving it as it is my favourite month due to many reasons.

The past week and the week before had been very hectic. My team and I were busy preparing for ACM ICPC and we probably did a full contest everyday along with other various types of training. Yesterday was the KL regionals where we got 6th solving 8 problems. I am not complaining much because it was not within our means to get one more problem solved (though we were working on it but we missed out one important key point). After the award ceremony, Dr Tan drove us back from KL and by the time I was home it was close to 2am.

I caught a plane at 12:25pm transiting at Bangkok to Tokyo. And so here I am in Tokyo and I miss the cold weather. The organisers for the Tokyo regionals were pretty nice and they paid for 2 nights of our stay and we each got a room to ourselves. This might be the first time I get a hotel room to myself.

So here I am in my room thinking about things. Things like where should I be visiting in Tokyo, about the Tokyo regionals, about algebraic number theory, how much I miss Japan and so on. But I guess it is late (2AM local time) and I should catch some sleep as I didn't sleep much recently (I find it very funny that during the study break I need 8hours of sleep but once the exams are over I can survive on 6 hours). That's all folks. Till the next update.

But we don't play mahjong everyday. By the way, lets play mahjong at least once this holidays.
