Macritchie Reservoir to Bukit Timah hill summit

i) Macritchie Reservoir to Rifle Range Road
We took the pink trail (route 5) which is supposed to be "difficult" and is 9+km according to the map. However, it took far shorter time than the estimated time given on the map and wasn't that difficult.

ii) Rifle Range Road to Catchment Path
The shortest path to reach the summit from Rifle Range Road is to enter by Catchment Path. However, on the maps of Bukit Timah hill, it is not clear that it is possible to reach Catchment path from Rifle Range Road (In fact, Catchment Path seemed to end in the middle of nowhere on the map).

We walked down Rifle Range Road and after BKE (and after the School of Ammunition), and we went over the railing on to an unmarked trail. The trail brought us through a clearing and Beluka track will cut across it. There will be some huge pipes along the way and out of nowhere, Catchment Path will appear.



iii) Catchment Path to summit and down the hill
We followed the green trail and climbed up summit path and we arrived at the summit. On our way down, we went through Rock Path. It's a nice trail in my opinion.
