Hello from Seattle

I'm amazed by how fast things have changed since I last typed a blog entry. Now you can even mention a friend from google+!

I realize that I haven't been traveling like how I used to travel in the past. But here I am in a hostel in Seattle, sitting in a kitchen and listening to another person's music playing in the background while a girl in front of me is busy typing in Facebook messages (based on the familiar notification sound). I'm still pretty amazed with my luck with the weather. Seattle was described to me as 9 months of rain and 3 months of summer and I stepped into a place that is sunny (I was all prepared for rain; I brought my raincoat and umbrella).

The past weekend was interesting. I went snowboarding for the first time and went down a blue twice and a black once on the second day of my snowboarding. It was a fun experience. Now that I have tried both skiing and snowboarding, I think snowboarding is more fun and this is mainly because the snowboarding boots is so much more comfortable than ski boots. OH and I fell so many times on my butt while snowboarding that my whole body ache.
