Email from professor
Here's an email I got today just before tomorrow's paper:
Dear all: I hope that all of you are adequately prepared. You know you can never be 100% prepared, unless it is something really below you, which is clearly not, in this case.
In the exam, you can use all things you know, or you ought to know, from the textbook, tutorials, or other sources. This is your rights. But you have to state clearly what you are using, which is your obligation. I just keep my right to judge whether this use is correct, to the point, or appropariate, or clever.
And remeber that I appreciate anything intelligent, and so write any such things as much as you want!
Best luck, and see you tomorrow,
Regards, professor
