I've stayed up and watched the full match between Spain and Germany - my first match in this world cup. It is nice that Paul the octopus predicted the score correctly. Now the real question is how many people believe the octopus is psychic. Did the Spanish and German players believe the prediction that ultimately led to the Spanish victory? If I am in-charge of Singapore Pool, I will add an extra option - betting on whether Paul the octopus predicts the finals correctly.
Now everyone's faceboook status has something to do octopus.

sushi and paul the octopus? hmm i don't really believe that he is psychic... he's just getting a lucky streak! =x

It calls for an interesting discussion. Firstly, how many correct prediction does the octopus need to make to convince people it is a psychic? Secondly, what is the chances that it is having a lucky streak? Regarding the latter question, I believe there is no clear cut answer.
