Recess week
Recess week is finally here. Last week was a terrible week as it felt like I was fighting fire all the time. All that homework and midterms and essays due altogether (2 midterms and an essay due on Thursday). All that deadlines that I had to meet and responsibilities I shoulder. Hence, I am extremely glad to have this little recess week to recharge and work hard on solving more problems. There is selection test to determine which teams to represent NUS and which teams to be sent to which regionals. So far the results are not too bad (Today is day one out of the three days).
I just found out recently that one of my close friend got attached through facebook. That will explain all the lack of contact and stuff. It is so strange to watch friends disappearing from the face of the world one by one. On the other hand, I think I have been socially inwards these days. I feel less approachable and less willing to open up. It is probably due to the fact that I treat people I've met as "hi and bye" as I believe that I will never meet them again.
Maybe I am too focused on what I want to achieve now. I will reweigh my priorities once all these are over.

When we are in doubt, we tend to rely heavily on our a priori assumptions.
The truly ingenious learns the hidden variables and uses the inferred states of the hidden variables to derive the posterior distribution, from which they draw their final pronouncement.
Don't worry about things -- they will come when they need to arrive.
I'll make sure I do something crazy when I see you next week in school. :D Hehehe!
Mun Thye: It sounds very much like you are discussing hidden markov models. hahaha. Que sera sera.
CL: I'm looking forward!
